Amidst increasing consumer demand for eco-friendly solutions, a leading packaging manufacturer needed to demonstrate the value of sustainable packaging to their clients, showing both environmental and financial benefits across the value chain.

Approach

We created a framework for measuring and articulating the impact of sustainable packaging. We analyzed the packaging value chain to identify key areas for sustainable improvement. We quantified the environmental impact of different packaging options. We demonstrated potential cost savings and ROI associated with sustainable choices.

We performed a scenario analysis to evaluate the environmental and financial impacts of different packaging choices. We created a digital twin of the packaging process, allowing for simulation and analysis of various input variables and their impact on emissions and ROI. We developed a framework to effectively communicate these insights to their clients.

Outcome

Our approach helped the manufacturer quantify their sustainability impact and drive informed decision-making across the value chain.
